Ok performance, 0 durability March 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This has some fabulous extras (carry case, in-car charger, remote) and good std features including zoom and widescreen. On the downside my player packed up after 9 months which I thought was pretty poor for a branded player. I never expected this from a Toshiba, maybe a cheaper import would be the option? Disappointed.
Poor Product January 23, 2008 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
It will not play my downloaded holday photos regardless of type of disc employed.Page 34 of the Manual reads "Never operate the player in a moving vehicle Vibration may prevent proper playback of the player or cause damage to the disc" MY RECOMENDATION IS DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Still havent received this christmas present for my hubby!!!!!!!! January 5, 2008 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
I ordered this portable DVD Player on 12/12/07 it was a to be a Christmas present for my hubby and the estimated time of delivery was 24/12/07, needless to say I still havent received it, what a disapointment!!! if I was informed that it would not have been delivered until after Christmas I would never had ordered this item in the first place. I am hoping to receive it soon.
I have gave DVD player 1 star rating but that is only because I havent received it, if and when I do receive it I am hoping it will be worth the wait and get a higher star rating.
Solid little thing November 7, 2007 16 out of 17 found this review helpful
Was well impressed when I've unpacked it. It felt solid and good quality. It has only a very small battery compared to the other portable DVD players that I have looked at, which is a big bonus as it makes it more 'portable'. The battery-size does not affect the performance. It has a remote control, but all major features can be accessed via the buttons on the machine. The 7'' monitor is very small and next time I will opt for a bigger one. The monitor is also not the best one, a lot of pixelation can be seen around characters in areas that are not sharply filmed. The loudspeakers must be the weakest point of this machine, they sound very tinny, however, there are always the earphones. Not the flimsy ones for in the ear, proper ones . It also comes with a wealth of accessories. A good machine for the price.
First impression October 24, 2007 19 out of 23 found this review helpful
I have only just rec'd this product therefore I can only provide you with my first impression. Its a lovely looking piece of equipment. The accessories included are great along with lots of instructions. Picture is great and volume excellent. Headset is very comfortable and the carry case has good compartments for safe and easy carrying. Really am pleased with product, so far so good! Should I come across any bad points, will let you know!
