bought it, payed for it then told i couldnt have lt, after id been out and bought a stand for it...complete waste of my time and money

Got this tv from Amazon.co.uk after my one from tesco broke after 1 day! This tv is superb. Playing PS3 games through HDMI and watching blu ray dvds is imense! The price is superb to for the size. It looks great in my bedroom and im very very happy. Would recommend this too anyone! Delivery was fast and easy.

Gorgeous & Very Reasonable For Price September 8, 2008
Spent ages looking over various different 37" tvs last week, and decided this one looked like the best value for money...
and i definately made the right choice, really has some excellent features.
the auto brightness works so well, means you dont have a problem watching the tv in a dark room as the tele automatically will decrease its brightness.
the xbox 360 looks sharp, though i think could look sharper, you can adjust the settings so much on this tele though and im sure its something to do with that.
also must add that the only difference between this and the 505DB is that outside casing, purely cosmetic, the internal tv is exactly the same.
id seen the 505DB in a shop and thought it looked nice, but the silver sides could look a little tacky, that isnt the case with this version, its just stunning to look at, all black except for a gunmetal stand which looks superb.
i recommend this tv, excellent.

ordered Wednesday lunch time arrived Thursday 09.30am, excellent service.
Beautiful looking set.
Switched on and auto tune located and stored over 30 freeview channels within five minutes.
Minor moan no fixing screws for table top stand in box hopefully Amazon will sort out.
Still playing with colours and sound but more than pleased with picture quality.
Fantastic price overe 200 cheaper than Argos.
Excellent HDTV August 13, 2008

One of my annoyances with HD TVs is that they often handle standard definition signals very poorly, not so with this one. Using both the inbuilt freeview and Virgin provides clear pictures with little in the way of noticeable compression (big blocks appearing on the screen where resolution is low).
Blu-ray movies and HD games (played through a PS3 and HDMI cable) look superb. Text has to be the biggest benefit, especially in games and when browsing the Internet. Text that was un-readable on a standard definition set are now crystal clear. So good that I actually now use it for my laptop too (there is an input for VGA on the back, as well as more HDMI slots and scart slots that I'd ever need).
The only negative I've found is that connecting the TV to my stereo (for external speakers) provides a delay meaning you can't have the TV speakers and the stereo speakers 'live' at the same time as you get an echo effect. This is a minor problem however since the TV's speakers are more than adequate for most things.
All in all a great TV at a great price.
