Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars An excellent film at an AMAZING price   April 10, 2008

Fearless is worth owning, and at this price on HD you'd be seriously wrong to miss it.
The film stands up as one of the best Martial Arts movies in recent years and one of the best of Jet lee's career. Rather then the usual string of fight scenes you might expect from Jet, this movie definitly has a soul. By the end I was totally swept up in the story, I cared about the characters and had that 'Rocky' feeling, like I'd been in the ring along side Jet during the final few bouts. And for 5 (current Amazon price) you can expirience this film in HD in your own home. Don't miss this bargain!.

5 out of 5 stars Martial Arts Rule.   March 25, 2008

This was the first Martial Arts film that I watched last year. I had never watched Martial Arts films before but now after watching many including House of Flying Daggers and Hero I still think this is a good film.

FYI this film does have an English audio option but taking into account the kind of film you are watching I would suggest you watch it in the original language and have the English subtitles on. It may sound horrible having to read subtitles but you soon forget you are reading them and it makes the film see more authentic.

5 out of 5 stars WOW!   March 13, 2008

The action scenes are quite simply stunning (if you like that sort of thing) and the story does have an interesting moral to tell, without being patronising or banal. Jet Li is brilliant, but other actors tend to be lost in his shadow and thus are 2-D. Definitely one of the best Martial Arts

5 out of 5 stars Arguably the greatest martial arts movie ever!!!   February 13, 2008

I grew up in an era of Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Jackie Chan (amongst others) churning out classic after classic to satisfy the Kung-Fu-mania sweeping through the US.

However, if there has ever been a movie that more successfully addresses the ethos behind all martial arts, while at the same time, delivering the very highest quality in Hollywood-glossed action, I've not seen it! Jet Li is awesome, as are the rest of the cast.

An absolute classic! If there is anyone out there who was a fan of martial arts movies as a kid and has not seen this, it will make your day! Pay whatever they're asking!

5 out of 5 stars "Jet Li's finest"   January 15, 2008

Aside from an anemic set of supplemental features that boast only one (albeit excellent) deleted scene, 'Fearless' is a great addition to your high definition library. The film itself is bold, heart wrenching, and exciting, while its visual and audio presentations are welcome upgrades from the standard DVD. Despite what others have said before me, I'll confidently put Li's latest film alongside my collection of classic martial arts flicks that I'll watch over and over again for years to come.
