Product Description Toshiba has brought out a new camcorder for the masses, it?s the Camileo H10! Optimised for multimedia, the Camileo H10 is a hybrid camcorder with a 720p high definition recording mode, as well as a YouTube feature for shooting footage directly in internet-compatible format. In fact, the Camileo H10 is a cross between a digital camera and a high definition camcorder, coming with a 10-megapixel CCD sensor and a 5x optical zoom to enable you to get up closer to the action. It?s able to capture even the tiniest details of everyday life and is packed with loads of other technologies, such as MPEG4- and H.264-format video recording modes so you can share your photos with others connected to the web. Plus, the Camileo H10 includes a high definition mode with 1280 x 720 pixels, allowing you to show your holiday snaps and videos in the best possible quality. Meanwhile, the Camileo H10?s handy modes, including scene detection, a night mode, a digital image stabiliser, special effects and red-eye reduction, let you improve and add your own personal stamp to your work. The Toshiba Camileo H10 has got everything to satisfy all your needs!

Toshiba - Camileo H10 High Definition Camcorder December 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The most disapointing product i have ever bought. Bad Sound recording, the image is not what i call HD unless its of a snow storm, image was very grainy and had pixels missing on playback. Maybe OK for Youtube but nothing else.
A great holiday companion October 18, 2008 20 out of 21 found this review helpful
I had big problems getting hold of this camera despite good reviews in the newspaper, but what it turns out to be is a great camera for holiday movies and snaps and clips for YouTube. It's almost small enough to drop in your pocket without noticing. The controls are simple. The quality is just fine if that's the limit of your requirements.
I had bought it to see if I could use in my professional work - recording role play in management training. But even using the highest quality option the picture was too grainy to show on a large screen and, above all, the sound too low quality (it does not have an inlet for an exterior microphone).
So I've brought in on holiday instead and it's a great companion.
