The first thing you notice about this DVD player is that the manual says it is region 2 only. This is at odds with the Amazon description. The manual is correct. To enable the multi-region abilities you'll have to download a file from the internet, burn it to CD and then play it. This will open a hidden menu allowing you to select region 0 (ie multi-region.
Other than that. This DVD player is a reasonable DVD / VHS combo, though it lacks some features of higher spec individual VHS or DVD units.
